Description

Join us for monthly poetry discussions, led by docents from the UA Poetry Center. The event is free, and no preparation or knowledge of poetry is necessary.

Everyone is welcome to attend as we read from favorite poets, learn about new poets and share our views. Each participant will receive a packet of the poems to be read and discussed, sourced from the Poetry Center's world-renowned collection.

On December 15th, we will read and discuss the work of Li-Young Lee. Born in Djakarta, Indonesia in 1957 to Chinese political exiles, he often writes of family and memory.
