In this lecture entitled American Exceptionalism: Reconsidered Noam Chomsky will discuss current events dominating America's political climate.

Professor Noam Chomsky is a world-renowned linguist, philosopher, social critic and public intellectual. Having written over 100 books throughout his career, Mr. Chomsky was lauded by the New York Times as "arguably the most important intellectual alive." He currently serves as a laureate professor in the Department of Linguistics in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Professor Chomsky is also the Agnese Nelms Haury Chair in the Agnese Nelms Haury Program in Environment and Social Justice.
