One Starry Night: A Tohono Chul Performance

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr Library

Description

Rumpelpigskin and Jaqueline Jackrabbit listen as Granny Sweet tells the age-old story of how Grandmother Spider set out to place the stars in the sky in a neat and orderly manner until mischief-maker Coyote decides to “help!”. As her story unfolds, a variety of nocturnal desert animals – bats, bobcats, coyotes, Gila monsters, owls and mice – go about their daily lives, all while we are sleeping. There is even a light show, a possibility of dancing skeletons and a day-turns into-night activity to take home.

All Ages.  Tickets will be available one hour before the event.

Presented by Tohono Chul Desert Players.
