My art explores biological complexity, otherworldly ecosystems and life or the distant future. Math, biology, robotics and artificial intelligence influence my work. My surrealistic graphite drawings depict unearthly plants animals and partially machine creatures roaming through alien landscapes, some of which are inspired by Arizona vistas. My work has been shown at various venues: a recent work was displayed at the University of Arizona’s main art museum during March 2017, three pieces were shown at the ASU 2017 Astrobiology Science Conference, and my work was the focus of a national arts program (NAP) spotlight write-up in 2015.
