Qigong – The Art of Mindful Movement

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Himmel Park Library

Description

Ancient Chinese medical intuitives could sense invisible energy channels in our bodies that circulated this energy or chi and then they developed movements and postures that both increased its flow and harmonized it. Join us for a three-part class that will teach you these movements so that you, too, can feel a sense of Flow and Presence.

Those who practice Qigong (and Tai Chi) notice that they become more still inside, they develop a peaceful vitality, and that medical challenges diminish. Thus, it has become a wonderful form of moving meditation and preventative health.

Instructor Joel Rosenfeld has practiced various forms of Qigong and Tai Chi and has worked with both Lee Holden’s and Roger Jahnke’s Schools of Qigong. His own emphasis is upon creating inner harmony and touching one’s “True Nature.”
