Join Pima County Public Library's LGBTQ+ Services Committee for the annual LGBTQ+ Author Talk! Author Robin Talley will discuss her extensive backlist of books for young readers and overall life as a writer. The event will include a section for Q&A with attendees.
Robin Talley (she/her) is a queer author who grew up in southwest Virginia and now lives in Washington, D.C., with her wife and their kids. She did digital communications work for LGBTQ rights, women’s rights, educational equity, and other progressive causes before she turned to writing full-time, and she is now the New York Times-bestselling author of seven novels for young adult readers, including The Love Curse of Melody McIntyre, Music From Another World, and Pulp. Her books focus on LGBTQ characters, and have been selected for honors including the Junior Library Guild, Amelia Bloomer Project, Kids’ Indie Next, and ALA Rainbow lists.
