Pima County Public Library’s Kindred Team invites you to Read Black!

Join us as we further the conversation on Black literature, history, and culture. This monthly book club will include alternating months of conversations about books focused on the Black experience, both fictional and real. 

On odd months, we'll read a book together, with a facilitated discussion guided by a member of the Kindred team. On even months, attendees will come ready to discuss one or more books by and about Black folks, and a list of books discussed will be made for the library website. Looking for a new book to read? Check out what's new on the Kindred page!

June heralds our annual Read Black Pride celebration! Keep an eye on this space for a recommendation list of new books by Black members of the LGBTQ+ community closer to the date of the meeting. 

This meeting will be held via Zoom. Please register in order to receive login information shortly before the meeting begins.
