AARP Foundation Tax-Aide helps low to middle-income taxpayers file personal tax returns for free. AARP membership is not required. They file returns electronically, and they do not provide legal or financial advice.

Before your appointment with a Tax-Aide volunteer, please have all your tax forms and data easily available. Drop by one of the Tax Help libraries to pick up a preparation packet after mid-January 2026, or Visit the Tax-Aide Taxpayer Information page after mid-January 2026, to fill out an intake form and find out what documents you need to bring with you.
