This is a monthly book club with a lively discussion for adults!
We are a community book club celebrating Borderlands literature featuring local and Indigenous authors, perspectives of the US-Mexico border, and stories rooted in the Sonoran Desert, inviting all to explore.
We meet in person on the third Saturday of the month, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Registration is not required.
Here is the list of titles we will read in 2026 (selection and sequencing subject to availability and the whims of the club leader).
There is a monthly email newsletter with reminders and updates.
The book for our March meeting is The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver, who just won the Pulitzer Prize and lived in Tucson. The library has very few copies, but a lot of Libby eBook versions, so attendees may need to obtain their own copy of the book (in whatever format they prefer).
