I loved this book! Odd 's stream of conscience creates such a simple outlook for a complicated existence. He embodies innocent passion, a resigned competence in his everyday activities, yet has a special gift that makes his life less than…

"Odd Thomas, yes that's his name, is such a fantastic and likable hero. And Dean Koontz has a knack for oozing interesting things out of even the most mundane thoughts or settings. Very strange and quirky!" - Raven P.

Definitley a great book and one of my favorite series.

A very binge-readable book. Twists and surprises, I obsessed over it until I finished it. And Dean Koontz is definitely a first class storyteller; the kind that can handle horror, suspense, drama, and comedy without ever getting cheesy or…

Even though the book is highly derivative of MKS' The 6th Sense it is still very entertaining. Koontz is a very literate writer but still keeps the styling accessible to the average reader. The religious undertones are off-putting at times…

Too odd for me.

I discovered Odd by randomly picking out a CD audio book at my local library. This character has now become one of my favourite. The characters laid back view of his adventures and life around him is amusingly described in cleaver…

A creepy, sometime scary, action packed story.

The best fiction I have ever read! After a 10 or so year hiatus from reading fiction, my daughter suggested author Koontz, particularly his Odd Thomas series. Brilliant, humorous, great mix of down to earth and "paranormal"…

Fell in love with the character Odd Thomas almost immediately. Can't wait to read the rest in the series.

Mr. Koontz is once again the master of human depravity amidst supernatural situations. Whether the one draws the other or vice versa isn’t a question easily answered and the novel doesn’t provide the reader with any real conclusions. What…

Odd Thomas is a lovable, unusual hero whose adventure is well paced, gripping, and suspenseful. Good luck putting this book down!

So far an addictive read. I have to read it during the day on days when I have nothing to do because I find myself sitting for hours just immersed in this Odd story. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.

I love Dean Koontz's books and have just reread Odd Thomas in anticipation of getting the movie from the library. The main characters are wonderful and the surprise ending is worth the wait!

A very engaging and compelling novel. Odd Thomas is such an unusually earnest character and this book has almost a 1950's very wholesome atmosphere. I dig it and I'm looking forward to reading the rest in the series.

Another new character for me, and I love him. Can't wait to read the rest.

Dean Koontz really is my favorite author of all time, and he outdid himself with this series. There's something for everyone in every book, his writing style is dark and still very witty (at at times, cute), and he makes it feel as if the…

This is the first book in the series and is the best, without a doubt. The characters, limited in number as they are, interweave to make an amazingly complex story that keeps you riveted until the end.

It felt really slow-paced for the first half, but overall, it was very good.

It was okay. A little too much like the sixth sense, but not a bad read. I doubt I'll read the rest of the series. The novelty of a guy who sees dead people and helps them "move on" while preventing evil doings just seems cheesy to me. Oh…
