I did not find this book as interesting as the first one. Unfortunately, the amount of violence seems to be increasing, and I may not read more of his books. Except for the violence, I thought this was a fun read.

Not great, too many red herrings, too long and drawn out. It took forever to get to the final conclusion, and began to get irritating. It could have been 100 pages shorter.

I have completed the first two Alex Cross mysteries, and I have enjoyed them very much. I love reading about his family. He is relentless and never gives up. I also watched the movies based on these two novels. Great reads and great…
Only 1/2-way through,
but I 'm kind of startled by how violent and gruesome the descriptions of the the crimes are , but the plot is suspenseful.
Now 80% read, and plot thinkens.
Finished. Pretty good .
Some minor plausibility…

Psychopathic villain(s?) with the uncanny ability of deception and explicitly brutal toward women. I like nasty *believable* villains. This book was over the top and not for me.

Kiss the Girls is very addicting and really hard to put down. The mystery was great and it wasn't until the last few pages when I found out who Cassnova really was. Patterson throws in a few head fakes and oh man did I fall for all of them!

Fast paced, decent read, but I did spend the entire time thinking "why haven't the detectives done [this] already?".
Seemed like they weren't particularly smart and was an action hero waiting for some drama.

Although this book was well written, its a little too creepy for my taste. I stopped reading the Alex Cross novels after this book. I enjoy most of James Patterson's other books though.

Second book in 16 book series. This book was good liked it better than first (Along Came a Spider) but the mind of serial killers is a quite a bit to handle for me. Seeing on TV is a lot easier to then actually reading it...anyway I am…
