I like the research and information provided in this book. I hate the title, you can never overcome Dyslexia. You can learn how to live with it, develop personal techniques for reading and memory but you will have it for your entire life. I also found the techniques to learn to read too general and simplified for the average child. What child is offered an intensive reading program now a days, I can't even get her extra resource help. Maybe if you lived next to Yale or can afford a $50,000/year day school like they recommend you could see results...but the average kid! Parts are very unrealistic.
