This book is for readers who want only the oft-told and carefully sanitized fan magazine version of Miss Hepburn's life and legend--she would not have cooperated with Mr. Berg otherwise, as he himself later admitted.
I highly recommend William Mann's "Kate: the Woman Who Was Hepburn" for the more real and infinitely more interesting accounting of the fascinating star.

As an obsessed Katharine fanatic. Read it. Just read it. There is no higher authority or praise in the world then this book gives to this grand Dame.

It made me cry :)
