I rate this high because I love classic animation of all kinds and have the want to see ALL that Disney ever made. The first Disc is all B&W from 1929-1932, so many won't see past that, but the backgrounds and solid character motion is outstanding. Disc 2 has many early and remarkably breathtaking animations taht show how the studio was starting to develop superior art compared to others, WB excluded. Of note are the two unedited Santa Claus shorts "The Night Before Christmas" and "Santa's Workshop." "Three Orphan Kittens" is stunning in art and story.
