This is a very good book and how does Hamish survive all through a couple of years of school and why didn't he ask for someone to teach him and Nathan they never show how smart he is just that he is good at everything. He could be very dumb and the whole school too. :)

Excellent book ! For any family that has someone who cannot read well , a must book to read to them , a touching and heartwarming story . Nathan is a great and caring big brother who comes to his little brother's rescue with Hamish's problem of not being able to read . Sadly there are many children just like Hamish in the school system who have fooled teachers and adults just like he did , appearing to know how to read and can't . Recommend this book .Fast-paced and funny .
