When it turns out that this "locked stall" rest stop suicide is anything but an open-and-shut case, Ceepak and Boyle realize that the corporal might have been privvy to information that opens up a much larger conspiracy that strikes at the heart of our involvement in the Middle East, and puts them on the wrong side of some very unpleasant people...

In Hell Hole, John Ceepak is confronted with his most personal case yet: he must investigate the alleged suicide of a military corporal who recently returned from Iraq. The soldier's body is discovered in the "locked stall" of a rest-stop bathroom on the Garden State Parkway and it is anything but an open-and-shut case.
Ceepak and Boyle suspect foul play - but who would want to kill the corporal, and why? Could he have been privvy to information that somebody doesn't want getting out? Ceepak and Boyle aren't sure, but to uncover the truth, they have to undertake some of the toughest investigating of their partnership. And it might just put them in the line of danger if they aren't careful.
