This is fascinating account of discoveries- of Archimedes lost works, the convoluted journey it had, the rise and fall of civilizations it survived and finally bought by a wealthy person who was willing to spend a lot so that the codex could be read.
I love reading about the history and the slick and complex methods used.
Very easy reading.
