From Library Staff

Set in familiar locations and restaurants in Tucson. Not great prose, but she really gets the feel of the town. --Karen @ Joel D. Valdez Main Library

The plot moves like molasses in January.

The book's exposition takes place in the first person. The heroine has been treated unfairly her entire life, so naturally she's twisted and bitter.

The thin plot is padded out with a lot of self-examination which, frankly, gets pretty boring after a few pages.
