It's always fun to revisit a childhood favorite and find it's just as fun as you remember. A few little references here and there date the story a bit, but Socks's perspective remains perfectly catlike.

A cute story. I remember enjoying it as a child, as I did as an adult, but also hating the way that the people treated Socks as I also do now. I enjoy work by this author and will (re)read other stories by her.

Poor Socks! How will he adjust to having baby Charles join a household where he was once the center of attention. The book has wonderful insights into the mind of a cat like Socks and why he behaves the way he does. All of us cat-lovers should take note!

I need to get 8 copies for my class that I am teaching. Is it possible? Thank you.
