I just could not get myself to finish this book. the story is confusing with so many characters coming and going at different life stages. I have never read this author before and will most likely never will.

I want to like this series more, it is not nearly as good as J R Ward's
Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
However, I read them because I keep searching for links between the books and there are a few if you read carefully.

Not as entertaining as the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. This one dragged quite a bit. It was hard for me to feel any particular interest in Isaac or Grier and the chemistry was lacking.

Really loved this new 'side' series to the Black Dagger Brotherhood.
I can't wait for the newest in the BDB series 'Lover Reborn' to arrive!!

J.R. Ward is an amazing writer. I lover BDB books and this series is proving to be just as good. The beginning is a little confusing, but once you get into it, it all falls into place. There is only one part of the story i actually found quite disturbing, but once you finish the book it makes you understand how passionate Jim is and to what extent he will go to to save someone's soul. He is the best of the best and the strongest of the strongest. Can't wait for the next book. Hope it is soon.
