This book was different from what I usually read, although I have read science fiction before. It was interesting and developed the characters to keep them interesting.

It's fun. If you Like Simon R Green, you'll like this one. It has a few omages and conventions that will be familiar to anyone who reads the NIghtside books. Only reason this wasn't a 4 or 5 is that it's a bit hard to get into off the start.
