I really didn't know much about Mongolia or its history. But after reading this book really i opened up a door to a new and much more clear understanding about Mongolia and the Mongols. My personal say is that this book is totally awesome. It's never sensible to point out the down points of any book as every book has its charms and stains. Overall Daughter of Xanadu is a perfect glimpse into ancient Mongol lifestyle and a lesson of courage for all.
