One of the weakest celeb bio's I've read. Barely readable, mostly because McQueen was such a fascinating character that it's just about impossible to write a completely uninteresting book about him. Though it seems as if ol' Mark Eliot sure tried his darndest.

McQueen had a tough time getting to where he did and he didn't deal with his fame well.
I do like the author Marc Eliot's work and have read everything he has written.

Lots of details.
Did not hold my interest very long.
Rough childhood and a sex addict.
I liked his movies and his TV series.
