The third season of the musical comedy 'Glee' ,a show about a high school show choir named 'New Directions', was an eventful one. It focused on the graduating seniors of McKinley High, Rachel, Kurt, Finn, Quinn, Puck, Santana,Mercedes and Mike. Throughout the season, we see the group trying to find out what they want to do once they graduate. There's auditions, disappointments and heartbreak. I think any teenager in their senior year of high school can definetly relate to the struggles the characters go through. The musical numbers were spectacularly done by a very talented cast. The voices of such cast members as Lea Michele, Criss Colfer, Darren Criss and Naya Rivera continue to impress me every season and I look forward to what they will do next on Glee. Season three also welcomed newcomers from the show 'The Glee Project', where they competed to win a spot on Glee. Samuel Larson, Alex Newell, Damien McGinty, Lindsay Pearce. These actors and actresses did not fail to impress me and some of them went on to be a part of the main cast in season four. As well as focusing on the graduating students, this season also showed how the some of the students staying behind (Brittany and Tina, most importantly) would deal with their loved ones go to school far away. Heavy topics such as texting and driving, gender identity, adoption, domestic abuse and suicide were also involved in this season, and I think it was really important that they were included because those are some of the big issues teenagers struggle with today. The DVD includes bonus features such as 'Glee Under the Stars', 'Welcome to the Class', 'Making the Finale' and more. Overall, I really enjoyed season three of Glee and I am looking forward to what comes next for these characters.
