I learned a lot about the migrant Mexican workers who travel to the USA to make a better life for themselves and their families. This book talks too about the heartaches they endure and the families they leave behind in order to try and make a decent living.

Cleverly written, divided per characters. Still the story flows well. Compelling look on the challenges and sorrows of Mexico/USA border immigration.

very fast read, an okay story. I was disappointed as this was not nearly as good as any of the other Luanne Rice books I have read in the past. She has always been one of my favorite authors.
