I always enjoy Sophie Kinsella's novels, and this was no exception. The memorable characters and intriguing plot truly make Lottie and Ben’s Wedding Night a novel to remember.

I noticed people on the train were looking at me oddly - then I realized I was openly laughing and snickering, I just couldn't help myself. She writes the voices of both main characters so distinctly and humorously.

A fun book to read as most of hers are. Very easy light reading.

I'm not usually a reader of chik-lit but I really enjoyed this book.

Amazon had mixed reviews some people thought this was one of the worst stories Sophie Kinsella has told. If it's one of her worsts then I hope to be surprised by her bests :)

Sophie Kinsella's books are basically romantic comedy movies you'll actually want to watch. This one may not be as good as I've Got Your Number but it was still a pretty enjoyable read. All I'm saying is that was a honeymoon from hell!

Patron reviews from the Adult Summer Game: "Not very well written. I have found a lot of the other ones by this author a lot lighter and funnier. Lots of little details that were ignored and that didn't make sense."

"A fun novel that's light and entertaining."

This romance novel by Sophie Kinsella was hilarious, charming, and a real page-turner. Some say the best part of romance is the desire (yet to be fulfilled), and this book is chock full of exactly that. The well-meaning sister of the bride does everything in her power to keep the newlyweds of this hasty, rebound relationship from consummating their marriage. I can't wait to see the movie! (Just as Confessions of a Shopaholic became a major motion picture.) It will be a great romantic comedy!

I have read quite a few of Kinsella's novels to take a fun break from more serious reading. I am finding that the plots are getting more and more implausible and repetitive. The book had its moments, but nowhere near as fun as the original Shopaholic books.

Told in alternating viewpoints, the story opens as Lottie and her boyfriend Richard are having a "special" lunch at a swanky restaurant. Lottie, after hearing Richard has a big question to ask her, thinks that he is planning to propose to her. So, Lottie is absolutely crushed when Richard reveals that his question was about what kind of trip the two of them should plan with his air miles. She breaks up with him when he does not seem interested in marrying her. Much to the astonishment of her older sister Fliss, Lottie quickly rebounds and accepts a marriage proposal from an old flame named Ben. As Lottie and Ben travel to Ikonos, Greece for their wedding night, they are secretly followed by Fliss, Richard, and Ben’s business partner Lorcan who also thinks the impromptu marriage is a bad idea.
