This was a fairly good book. Alex Flinn cleverly combined all the witches from well-known fairytales highlighting the witch’s life and why she chose to lead that life. It wasn’t Alex Flinn’s best book, but it also wasn’t her worst book. It is a good read when you are wanting a change from the classic love story, but other than that it wasn’t overly enjoyable. - @bookwormanonymous of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Wow! I couldn't put this book down. And I'm a fussy reader. This author has talent! One of the best books I've ever read.

The book was alright because it had some good ideas thrown in, so I can see how some people had liked it. However, i personally was left wishing the book had been written by a different author because the storytelling left me wishing for more surprise, suspense and attachment to characters. Still worth reading if you're into witchy books though.

From the author of Beastly, which was recently made into a movie. Even if you didn't like that (like me), read this. It's awesome.

it wasn't a horrible time-wasting read but it definitely was not Flinn at her best. The book was all over the place re-telling too many fairy-tales for my taste before really settling into the main plot. I liked the ending though, she does usually find her way to happy endings in her books.

Realy good! I love Alex Flinn's fairy tale retellings. I really like Kendra and found the way the book was written interesting and original. Most definetly worth picking up.
