Albert Einstein's brain floats in a Tupperware bowl in a gray duffel bag in the trunk of a car barreling across America. Driving the car is journalist Michael Paterniti. Sitting next to him is an 84 year old pathologist, Thomas Harvey, who performed the autopsy on Einstein in 1955 and then removed the brain and took it home and kept it for over 40 years. The two men and the brain leave New Jersey and light out for sunny California, where Einstein's perplexed granddaughter, Evelyn, awaits.

I like this man's writing, but it isn't terribly gripping or so interesting that I can't put the book down. In fact, it's kind of the opposite, and at this point with so much else to do and to read, I may not finish the book. Oh, well.....

Writing was decent, but somehow expected it to be more than it was. Interesting little story, but disjointed and in the end - a little pointless?

Ok this book is 180 pages of surrealism. Why would anyone save Einstein's brain. In theory it was for research.
Some great laughs and a little relativity thrown in.
