An adorable (though slightly sketchy) story about a deaf songwriter (yes, that's a thing) and the girl who lives across the way.

My favorite book. I have never given a Colleen Hoover book anything but five stars. I absolutely love her writing. Easily my favorite author.

Colleen Hoover does it again! I've just read this book for a second time now and will likely go for a third! Ridge and Sydney pull you in and won't let you go, even AFTER you've finished their story!

Instantly one of my all time favorite books. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't get enough of the story and the characters. When I finished it I felt an uncontrollable urge to flip it over and start reading it again.

A captivating, passionate, touching, and unique journey that gripped and enthralled me until the very last word. Hoover weaves a thoughtful tale that pushes boundaries of the heart beautifully. …

Ridge, deaf since birth, has a girlfriend Maggie who he loves dearly. Just the same, and try as he might, he falls for Sydney - as only the heart knows what love is. A sweet story.

This is the first book I read from this writer. It is also the first time I read a book, turn around and read it all over again. And, I enjoyed it just as much the second time around! I also love the soundtrack!!! Since then, I have read most of her books!!! I don't know how to put the stars but I would give it a 5!!!
