Praise for Mesu Andrews! if you like biblical fiction, then this is for you. Andrews weaves a convincing tale about the wickedness of the daughter of Queen Jezebel whilst penning a true and passionate romance between Jehosheba and the high priest. While the romance was sometimes a tad sappy (Sheba was often weepy and insecure which was part of the character development) the romance between the high priest and princess was something to be coveted. Amidst a time of cruelty and manipulation, Mesu Andrews demonstrates what survival and unconditional love can be.
