A Victorian Era skin flick with a very thin story line.

I did enjoy it and I would recommend it, but I agree it could included more of their accomplishments and it is sad.

Really disappointed in this film. It lacks actual drama. I haven't read the book but from the interview with Dan Stevens on the DVD, I see that it is based on a true story. Without wishing to include spoilers here, there is short-shrift to the motivations of one of the characters in the film. There had to be more to them doing what they did than was explored in this drama.

More demerits for inclusion of gratuitous female nudity. A film about artists and supposed non-conformists, yet the camera totally shies away from showing male nudity (the scene on the beach) but ogles females for no dramatic reason. Lame...

Described on the cover "A must see for fans of Downton Abbey". The only thing Downton Abbey-ish about the movie is it is a period drama and stars Dan Stevens (Matthew Crawley).

Extreme Nudity! I was excited to watch due to it having the actor from "Downton Abbey". Very disappointing.
