If you are an avid fan or just a nosy parker wanting to know how Doctor Who came to fruition then you are in the right place! With an idea hatched from Sydney Newman and under the tutelage of Britain's first female producer, Verity Lambert, Doctor Who was the first program of its kind. Originating in 1963, it predates television shows, Lost in Space, as well as, My Favorite Martian, and has continued for over 50 years!! It's not essential to have watched Doctor Who to enjoy this film, however, time is relative, or as the Doctor would say:

"People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff."

I recommend this for any Doctor Who fan and especially for anyone who likes to know about behind the scenes stuff. Interesting biography. Interesting '60s history.

Brought a tear to my eye what happened to William Hartnell, but was good to see Matt Smith to show the character that it will always go on because of William Hartnell.
