excellent book

Coe Booth knocks it out of the park again in her first book for younger readers. Jarrett, with all his frustrations, anger, and fears, will resonate with kids on the cusp of becoming teenagers. Booth has a real knack for understanding what drives kids and teens to act the way they do, and this realistic look at modern families helps fill a huge void for inner city readers looking for books that reflect their realities. Very well written with obvious respect for the book's characters and readers alike. Highly recommended.
