profane and selfindulgent
Disappointing collection of stories...I found it impossible to get through the lengthy book.
I like how her mind works. Liked this a lot. She bounces between different times in her life, which I see could be a bit confusing for some. Her essays are very amusing. If you like her show Girls, you will enjoy this too.
4 out of 5 stars :)
VERY DULL AND BORING BIO OF LENA DUNHAM. LISTENED TO TWO C.D'S AND IT DID NOT GET ANY BETTER WISH I COULD REMEMBER THE AWARD SHE RECEIVED ON NATIONAL T.V. MAY HAVE BEEN FOR WRITING "GIRLS" WHICH I DON'T SUBSCRIBE TO PREMIUM CHANNELS. NO WAY WAS I GOING TO LISTEN TO 5 DISC'S OF THIS FLUFF.
In this very disjointed book Lena skips back and forth among childhood, teen years, college and adulthood, sometimes barely taking a breath before switching gears. I cannot say that I enjoyed it,
