Second Chance is one in a series and, although it works well as a stand-alone, you'll miss out on hours of enjoyable reading if you don't read the other Christy Reece books.

Interesting storyline, filled with suspense. Pretty graphic sex included in with the romance.

While basically well written, the book would have benefited from a proofreader better at catching misplaced pronouns: "Looking a bit startled, Miranda handed her daughter back to Keeley." (The daughter is actually Keeley's, not Miranda's.) Such grammatical errors are annoying, and so easily avoided. (Deduct one half star.)

I love, love, love Christy Reece! Her books are fast-paced, well-written and the characters are so well-developed. It's too bad MPL doesn't carry her latest 3 books - they were also amazing!

Cole shows up in a previous book so make sure you read these in order.
