In his latest book about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Alan Dershowitz focuses on the two most recent wars between Israel and Gaza, stating emphatically that Israel was entirely justified in defending itself and trying to seal up the tunnels that run under the border. He does say that Israel made a huge mistake in 2005 when it completely withdrew from Gaza; he says what should have been done is that the settlements alone should have been evacuated while the occupation remained in place. In a recurring theme, he also once again slams the "Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions" movement, pointing out that no dictatorship is subjected to a similar campaign, and that the movement actually serves to hurt the interests of Palestinians who are employed by Israeli companies and making good wages. Another decent effort by the legendary attorney.
