I found this book almost impossible to read, and I had to abandon it. The author is very energetic which I appreciate, but it was just too much. It was like a Maroon 5 album. All the songs are super catchy, but after about 10 minutes you've heard everything the album has to offer.

My biggest complaint was simply how he took far too long celebrating his life without adding much value. While I have no problem with someone feeling proud of one's success, I was looking for a book that would provide successful sales strategies.

For example, in the very early part of the book, he talks about his first success story in which he brings in several high-profile investors. He has the opportunity to explain how he sold them on the idea he was promoting, yet he completely glossed over it to focus on his own life. It would have been the perfect opportunity to demonstrate success and then add the building blocks through the rest of the book. Instead, he says something to the effect of, "By bringing in all these investors, they knew they couldn't say no" and that's the end of the anecdote. Is the strategy then simply to bring in other big wigs? How do you sell them on coming in in the first place? I'm sure he gets to these strategies later, but I don't need to hear about how many Instagram likes his photos get first.

GREAT book! This is one that you really take your time with. So much knowledge and humor at the same time. You can tell that he is really just a personable character. I definitely recommend this to everyone I can get to listen.

I am very skeptical about marketing books - but this is not your average 'do the cold call' sell book. This is more about living true to yourself and living fully, with energy and vitality, and mostly joy. This is what is infectious and can make people like you - like you for you - not some phony trying to make a deal. It is a fun read, and much wisdom can be found for daily living. Highly recommend.
