SummaryAdd a Summary
This is a twist on the traditional view of princesses and fairy tales, but in an endearing way, not in a liberal or progressive way. The princess is thoughtful and kind to the annoying and "scary" (but not really) giant who lives above her family and uses fairy tales that she reads to think of ways to help the giant. The ending is a bit of a surprise and super sweet. The whole book is one that parents will want their children to cherish because it teaches such lovely things in childlike, imaginative ways, instead of your typical "teaching-something" children's book.
