Nearly 100 years after its initial release, this film remains one of the most controversial films ever made and a landmark achievement in film history that continues to fascinate and enrage audiences. It is the epic story of two families, one Northern and one Southern, during and after the Civil War. D.W. Griffith's masterful direction combines brilliant battle scenes and tender romance with a vicious portrayal of African-Americans.

A piece of racist trash, meant only to show the self- proclaimed "god-blessed above all others white race" as superior. An obviously black-faced white portraying a leering black obsessed with raping white women. Pure garbage.

LONG BORING CARICATURE.,,,,
The CURSE of a nation & the RE-FABRICATION of a race of the mortally defeated SOUTH, leaking it's mortal wounds, as soon as as the civil-war ended,

3hrs of B/W silent caricature of endless redundant circus of 1918, justifying lost cause & rationalizing criminal predators mission IN THE NAME OF GOD, NATION & RACE.
