I loved this book with it's beautiful pictures. The empathy shown to America from a small village in Kenya is so heart-warming.

A beautiful book with beautiful pictures about those who have so much less (in material things), yet can give so much more. I loved this book, and so did my grandchildren.

When a young Massai returns home to Kenya after witnessing the September 11th attacks in New York, his tribe decides to help the Americans the best way they know how. "...there is no nation so powerful it cannot be wounded, nor a people so small they cannot offer mighty comfort." This is a beautiful picture book for all ages.

A young Maasai man, in New York on 9/11, inspires his village to give a gift of 14 cows to America as a way of offering comfort to America.

This book is an amazing story from Wilson Kimeli Carmen Agra deedy. The picture are so finely done they look like actual photos. I think this book is excellent for any age because the words are good to use to expand a young reader. The book is also very good for the younger readers because if the story is read to them they are able to enjoy how beautiful the pictures are . I have to say that this book is by far the best picture book I have read this year
