This is a must read! I think joining the groups would be a lot more helpful using what is taught in the book. Just reading the book and trying to practice I could see a huge difference in my oldest (age 4). Loved reading the stories in the book and feeling not alone. This is a great book to show how to lovingly connect with your child.
As a parent I felt much calmer and understanding of what my child was doing and ways to help and be there for them.
No there is no simple solution and things won't always change in a blink of an eye. But working on the steps that are mentioned in this book like special time and stay listening, and with patience, you can see a difference.
Easy to read and understand. It was very enjoyable to read.
