Revenge Of The Evil Librarian is a great book. You do not need to read the first book prior to this one. All of the major plot points from the first book are summarized in the very first chapter. The tension in the book was always lingering, even during the beginning, when characters were still slightly traumatized by the events from the first book, and that suspense kept pushing me forward through the book. At points, I felt like absolutely anything could happen, and it kept me interested in the main conflict. If I could dock the book for anything, it would be the two love triangles (love quadrilateral?) having a little too much of an unnecessary focus in the first two thirds of the book, although it has little effect on my view of the whole book. With a 4.5 out of 5, I will happily recommend this book to anyone who enjoys fantasy, suspense, and drama in their book. And you don’t even need to read the first book to enjoy this one.
