I quite enjoyed this book. It is told from the point of view of the main character, Kate, as well as the two 'lovers'. As Kate goes on a journey to locate her grandmother she meets her grandmother's lover. the story is Kate's journey to the lover's and eventual discovery of where the grandmother now resides. the story of the two lovers is woven together in bits and pieces, interspersed with flashbacks back to previous times and events. Though the book is very long, it is a quick and easy read.
