Roger McGeary, a brilliant software engineer, has gifted himself with an upscale cruise in honor of his fortieth birthday. When he falls to his death from the balcony of his stateroom suite, the incident is quickly declared a suicide. Only his maiden aunt, a tough-as-nails woman who runs a race horse refuge refuses to take 'case closed' for an answer and turns to Ali Reynolds to look into the situation.

Try Jance's "Man Overboard" while you’re waiting for Christie's "Murder on the Orient Express."

This book will be discussed at the Sonoran Sleuths Mystery Book Club on April 25, 2018.

She lives in Bisbee, but that's local enough.

Of course, the new J.A. Jance has a ton of holds (I bet her author talks last week helped). Just follow my advice re: Vicious Circle to tide you over while you wait.

Absolute rubbish. After 3 chapters I returned the book. Haven't read this author before, and don't plan to again after this experience.

This was not one of Jance's better books. The story revolves around cyber technology and artificial intelligence with the ability to manipulate technological devices. It did keep me interested enough to want to find out the ending.

Jance has lost it. Her early books were great, This book is just a complicated collection of techno babble. Artificial intelligence characters and bitcoins! Wow.

Action packed, intricate storyline. A pleasure to read.
