Excellent documentary on the life of one of Japan's most iconic actors. Not only do you get an entertaining look at Toshiro Mifune's life, but also a nice overview of the history of Japanese cinema and the brilliant career of Akira Kurosawa. If you are not familiar with either Mifune or Kurosawa, use this film as a springboard to explore the movies mentioned in it.
