"I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had all my life planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after. I broke both our hearts that day I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I've poured my soul into music, but I've never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile. and now I'm going back. After ten years. I hope I can explain that after all this time, I still want her to be my forever girl."--P[4] of cover.

I picked this up to read before I watch the film of the same name. Reading it reminded me why I avoid reading from the Romance genre. Just not enough substance for me. I liked both Liam and Josephine and loved the way Liam immediately wants to be a father to Noah. Actually, though the kids seem to act more maturely than the adults and I really had to suspend my disbelief at times with the adult interactions. Also disappointed in all the our of wedlock sex. Marriage is not given the respect it should receive in the book. Not interested in the rest of the series.
