It was better than the usual DC films which is not saying much. The cast was all right. Producers took a gamble by by moving from WWII to WWI & history.
Nod on Diana Prince alter ego.
The problem was this.
Luddendorf died in 1937 supporting the Nazis.
Hindenburg died in 1934 as senile civilian leader of Germany before giving power to Hitler.
Maybe in the sequel producer will explain Invisible plane, giant kangas ridden by teenage Diana, the Golden age Villains & how to move Paradise Island from further interlopers?

A 4K UHD extravaganza. Makes the most excellent point that only humanity can overcome inhumanity.

A good comic type movie giving the background for wonder woman. It is mean't to be cartoonish so don't take this movie seriously. A little lighter in humor than thor ragnarok but still pretty good. Good action sequences in slow motion when wonder woman is fighting. It's good to see a female character that is not an SJW.

Rated 5/10. This movie was okay, but I thought the plot was a bit weak.

The acting is average; nothing of note.

I could not find any explanations for the beginning where "WW" is looking at the old photo of herself, taken from the briefcase.

Don't believe the hype. Disappointing. I resent that the movie introduced Wonder Woman into a historical setting, WWII, and made her out to be the great heroine who ended the war. A mythical superheroine did not end WWII. It was ended, in large part, by the immense sacrifices of the allied forces. To suggest otherwise for the purposes of fantasy entertainment seems highly disrespectful to those real men and women who gave their lives. I am unpleasantly surprised that this movie gained such popularity.

Directed by Patty Jenkins in 2017 based on the DC Comics character of the same name as the 4th installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), this American superhero drama depicts the struggle of the wonder woman in the First World War.
Gal Gadot takes a role of the titular protagonist, following her debut in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Some fighting scenes between superheroes appear like those of childish cartoons, and the storyline seems somewhat ill-contrived.
With a "hydrogen-based" chemical weapon as a plot device and excellent visual effects, however, I enjoyed this film as an entertaining piece.

Great film! Gal Gadot rocks!
P.S. There is a second movie coming next year!

I don't know what I had anticipated. I found the movie a bit boring, flat. Storyline could have been more developed? I guess I feel a bit disappointed.

Awesome!
Practically the first 'real' superhero movie I ever saw and now I love them. This movie was a great start!

Was a good movie but I think it could have been better; like all DC MOVIES.
