"Ishmael Jones is attending the re-opening of Tyrone's Castle, an ancient Cornish inn originally built by smugglers. Over dinner, the guests entertain one another with ghost stories inspired by local legends. But it would appear the curse of Tyrone's Castle has struck for real when one of their number disappears into thin air. And then another."--Publisher's description.

I really enjoy Simon Green's Ishmael Jones mysteries, even though I am not a big fan of the genre. This was a good book: haunted setting, suspense throughout, twist at the end. Unfortunately, he has already done a locked room crime scene before so the twist is kind of a loose knot. Still, it was a worthy read and good use of my time.
