I thoroughly enjoyed this book; however to me some of the projects seemed daunting and complex. Even with this in mind, Martha did an amazing job of guiding the reader with step by step instructions and tips for each project. Every craft is also accompanied with beautiful pictures of the outcome for each project as well as instructional diagrams. Many of the materials that are needed for the crafts are easily accessible at any department or craft store which is an added bonus that makes crafting much easier. What I also enjoyed about this book was that the complexity of projects throughout the book varies so that it is suitable for many types of crafters not just those who are highly skilled, in fact many of the crafts could be completed relatively quickly. Some may find this book to be lacking as a full crafting encyclopedia because it does not include every aspect of crafting and some elements have not been included like knitting, crochet, and embroidery ect. However this book takes a more creative approach to crafting while still showcasing traditional methods as well. Many if not all of the crafts in the book are Martha’s own creations so slight variation from conventional craft books is to be expected. Overall this a wonderful book for anyone interested in crafting whether they are just a beginner or they have been crafting for many years; this book has something for everybody. It is very inspiring and informative; with the step by step instructions, technique tips and diagrams to guide you along the way this book is a must have for any crafter!
