Poorly written, meandering and at time incoherent. An interesting subject that the author really doesn't do justice to.
Some low points in this cross country journey include it being told out of sequence, saying nothing of the trip between Saskatoon and Nova Scotia (!), a three chapter digression on how the author met his wife 11 years earlier, and the author's spouse adding commentary in disruptive footnotes.
Wow, what a bad, bad book.
